I would love to give this higher, but this story has one fatal flaw. The MC, Anthony has got to be the most useless, boring character I've seen in a while. Can't fight, has no real hobbies other than Simping. No real ambition other than helping his sick brother. He's a Incubus, a powerful creature, on level with world leaders, but he seem content being used and owned.Don't get me wrong, I know Brandon does slow burn plots, but I can only give my opinion of the series up till this book and with nothing really going for him, and yet taking most of the page time. he drops the quality of the story. I admit that I quit the book after 85%. I was already frustrated at how weak willed the MC was but at the point I quit he was going to be bound by one of his partners. She would be dominant while he was to be submissive.Anyone who has read my reviews knows I'm sick of weak, submissive protagonists. This just turned to that. Granted the MC was already weak and wishy washy, but to be tied up and submit was too much.
